DUBAI - The United Arab Emirates government announced on Tuesday the expansion of a one-stop online digital platform that provides immigration and related services for companies, workers and investors.
The second phase of the unified Work Bundle platform (workinuae.ae) enables private-sector companies, individuals, and investors to complete employment and residency procedures with a more efficient and enhanced user experience.
The platform, which was initially launched in March, provides a range of services, including issuing a new work permit, requesting a status adjustment, issuing a visa and employment contract, Emirates ID, residency, and medical examination services
“Completing the launch of the Work Bundle expands the base of beneficiaries to include all companies operating in the UAE,” said Mohamed bin Taliah, Chief of Government Services of the UAE Government.
He said the project reflects the importance of simplifying procedures and requirements to save time and effort for users, in line with the UAE’s Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme.
“The initiative emphasizes the importance of cooperation and integration between federal and local entities, underlining the positive impact this cooperation has on efforts to offer better and faster user experiences,” he added.

They also include renewing a worker’s employment contract, Emirates ID, residency, and medical examination services, and cancelling a worker’s employment contract, work permit, and residency.
The platform reduces the number of visits customers are required to make to service centers from seven to just two, significantly decreasing the processing time from 30 business days to just five.
Khalil Al Khoori, Undersecretary for Human Resources Affairs at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, hailed the platforms pivotal role in developing government efficiency, “establishing advanced approaches to create a unified platform bringing all participating entities together.”
