HANOI - A landslide on a hill slope left four people dead in Vietnam's northern province of Bac Kan early Tuesday morning, local media reported.
Five people in a family were sleeping in their house located on a hillside in Pac Nam district when the incident occurred at around 0:30 am (1730 GMT Monday).
The landslide completely buried their house. Four of them including a one-month-old baby were buried. One could escape.

The volume of rainfall in the region amounted to 90 mm from 8 pm on Monday to 6:30 am on Tuesday, Vietnam News Agency reported.
Natural disasters left 39 people dead and missing in Vietnam from January to May, according to the country's General Statistics Office.
