Mainland medalists wow Hong Kong in two demonstrations

Mainland Olympic medalists continued to delight Hong Kong people on Saturday - the last day of their three-day visit to the special administrative region.
The 2024 Paris Olympic Games delegation from mainland split into two groups to give separate sports demonstrations in the morning. They continued to interact with Hong Kong athletes and share their Olympics experience with the audience.
While gymnastics, badminton, table tennis and break dancing demonstrations were given at Queen Elizabeth Stadium; the Victoria Park Swimming Pool was the venue for diving, swimming and artistic swimming demonstrations. The two venues attracted around 4,200 spectators in all who enthusiastically cheered the star atheletes on.
The mainland atheletes also had skills exchanges with Hong Kong athletes in badminton, table tennis, swimming and canoeing.
Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Kevin Yeung Yun-hung, and Director of Leisure and Cultural Services Vincent Liu visited Queen Elizabeth Stadium while Permanent Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Vivian Sum dropped in at Victoria Park Swimming Pool to view the demonstrations.
The delegation left Hong Kong after attending a farewell luncheon held by the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China.
