Ocean Park Hong Kong has shared a Facebook post detailing the character traits of An An and Ke Ke, the panda pair gifted by the central government to the city.

On Thursday, when the pandas arrived in Hong Kong amid fanfare and cheers, Ocean Park posted an imagined dialogue between resident panda Le Le and "panda nanny" Matt.

"An An is a boy with a sharp face and long limbs. He looks huge but he's actually very gentle! He's just like you and loves food! From my observation, he's quite curious about things around him and often goes on adventures," enthused Matt, one of the Ocean Park caretakers who have been working with local colleagues to care for the panda pair at their former home in Dujiangyan, Sichuan province.

"As for Ke Ke, she's a little princess! She resembles Ying Ying a bit, with a round face and short limbs. She really knows how to enjoy her 'me time', relaxing with her favorite foods," said Matt.

In a Tuesday post, Ocean Park showed photos of the upgraded Hong Kong Jockey Club Sichuan Treasures, where An An and Le Le will meet the public.

New climbing structures made from hard wood and glass-fiber reinforced concrete have been installed.

“Enhancements of the second phase include the addition of chill rocks, as well as modifications to back-of-house areas,” reads the post.
