World leaders send congratulations on PRC's 75th founding anniversary

BEIJING - World leaders have recently sent messages or letters of congratulation to Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC).

Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin extended his warmest congratulations to the Chinese side, saying that under the leadership of Xi, China has made remarkable achievements in economic, social, scientific and technological development and played an important role in resolving international and regional hotspot issues.

He said that Russia cherishes the good-neighborly friendship between the two countries and is willing to further consolidate their comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for a new era.

DPRK

Kim Jong-un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the DPRK, expressed his conviction that the Chinese people, uniting closely around the CPC with Xi at its core, will surely achieve the Second Centenary Goal.

He said that it is the consistent position of the DPRK party and government to continuously consolidate and develop the traditional friendship between the two countries, and it is believed that the DPRK-China friendly and cooperative relations will be further consolidated and developed in the new era.

Vietnam

To Lam, general secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and Vietnamese president, expressed his firm belief that under the leadership of the Central Committee of the CPC with Xi at the core, the Chinese people will surely achieve the goals and development strategies put forward by the 20th CPC National Congress, and build China into a great modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, harmonious, and beautiful at an early date.

Vietnam regards consolidating and developing good-neighborly, friendly and comprehensive cooperative relations with China as a top priority and strategic choice, and is willing to work with China to promote the building of a Vietnam-China community with a shared future, he said.

Laos

General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee and Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith said that Laos attaches great importance to developing friendly cooperation with China and is willing to work with China to promote the building of a Laos-China community with a shared future to continuously yield fruitful results.

Cuba

General Raul Castro, leader of the Cuban Revolution, and Miguel Diaz-Canel, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and Cuban president, said that the great achievements made by the PRC since its founding 75 years ago fully prove that socialism can effectively cope with the current complex global challenges, adding that Cuba will remain firmly committed to deepening the brotherly and special friendly relations between the two countries.

Brazil

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said that Brazil-China relations extend beyond the bilateral ties and share extensive common values and common interests, serving as an example of stability for a turbulent and conflict-ridden world. He noted that Brazil is willing to work with China to push for in-depth development of bilateral relations and continuously consolidate bilateral friendship.

Cambodia

Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni said that Cambodia-China cooperation has become a model for the Belt and Road cooperation and laid a solid foundation for jointly building a high-quality, high-level and high-standard Cambodia-China community with a shared future in the new era.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen, president of the Cambodian People's Party, said that the Cambodian side is willing to continue to develop Cambodia-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and build a Cambodia-China community with a shared future.

Indonesia

Indonesian President Joko Widodo said that over the past 10 years, Indonesia-China comprehensive strategic partnership has been developing continuously. Indonesia cherishes the friendly relations between the two countries based on mutual respect, mutual understanding, and sincere friendship, and is willing to continuously deepen strategic mutual trust and mutually beneficial cooperation.

India

Indian President Droupadi Murmu said that India and China, two major neighbors, face many common development challenges and share common regional interests, adding that it is very important to develop peaceful and stable bilateral relations and that India is willing to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation with China.

Singapore

Singaporean President Tharman Shanmugaratnam said that China has made remarkable achievements in its modernization drive and made important global contributions, noting that Singapore and China enjoy close economic ties, diversified areas of cooperation and close cultural and people-to-people exchanges.

Papua New Guinea

Governor-General of Papua New Guinea (PNG) Bob Dadae said that PNG will firmly uphold the one-China principle and looks forward to continuing to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation with China, so as to jointly build a closer China-Pacific island countries community with a shared future.

Fiji

Fijian President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere said that Fiji and China enjoy solid friendship, and that Fiji will continue to be committed to Fiji-China friendship and promote bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Venezuela

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said that China has become an important guarantee for preserving lasting peace and stability in the world and a pioneer in promoting equal and mutually beneficial cooperation.

Venezuela will firmly uphold the one-China principle, unswervingly support China on issues concerning China's core interests, and actively participate in China-proposed initiatives including a community with a shared future for mankind and the Belt and Road cooperation, he noted.

Argentina

Argentine President Javier Milei said that Argentina-China relations are based on respect and cooperation, and Argentina hopes to further strengthen high-level exchanges with China, promote economic, trade and investment cooperation and cultural and people-to-people exchanges with China, continuously expand the common interests between the two countries, and strengthen Argentina-China comprehensive strategic partnership.

Solom Islands

The Solomon Islands' Prime Minister Jeremiah Manele said that the world has witnessed Chinese path to modernization with its own national conditions, and that the Solomon Islands is willing to join hands with China to build a community with a shared future for mankind.

Serbia

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that China has set an example of and injected impetus into global development, and the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind, the Belt and Road Initiative, and the three global initiatives put forward by Xi will promote the building of a more just, equitable and progressive world. He added that Serbia is willing to work with China to jointly build a Serbia-China community with a shared future in the new era.

Hungary

Hungarian President Tamas Sulyok said that China has become an important force on the international stage, and that Hungary is willing to continue to be China's partner, deepen cooperation in various fields and achieve common development goals.

Germany

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier said that China actively responds to global challenges including the climate change, adding that it is more important than ever to carry out close and practical bilateral cooperation. He believed that Germany-China relations will continue to consolidate and deepen.

Italy

Italian President Sergio Mattarella said that as two ancient civilizations with thousands of years of history, Italy and China can contribute profound strategic wisdom to easing tensions and overcoming conflicts in the international community, adding that Italy is willing to further deepen practical cooperation with China and promote the development of bilateral relations.

Switzerland

President of the Swiss Confederation Viola Amherd said that the Switzerland-China innovative strategic partnership is deep and stable, and that she firmly believes that the two sides can continue to deepen cooperation at the bilateral and multilateral levels in the future.
