SHENZHEN, China - Sunday's Chinese Super League (CSL) action saw a complete absence of goals, as Cangzhou Mighty Lions faced off against Nantong Zhiyun, while Shenzhen Peng City battled Meizhou Hakka, with both games ending in 0-0 draws.

Cangzhou, playing at home, had a golden chance to avoid relegation with a win over bottom side Nantong, but their conservative strategy rendered them unable to create any significant scoring opportunities. Of their six attempts, only two found the target. Nantong were equally lackluster, failing to register a single shot on goal.

The goalless draw leaves Cangzhou in a favorable position, with only a slim theoretical risk of relegation. In contrast, Nantong face a daunting future, especially with a challenging contest against Beijing Guoan looming ahead.

In the other clash, Shenzhen and Meizhou went head-to-head in a relegation showdown. Each side deployed four overseas players in their starting lineups, and while both created several strong attacks in the penalty area, neither could find the back of the net.
