China, India reach resolution on border issues

Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian confirmed on Tuesday that China has reached a resolution with India regarding their border issues after New Delhi said it had struck a deal with Beijing.

"In recent times, China and India have maintained close communication through diplomatic and military channels on relevant border issues. Currently, the two sides have reached a resolution," Lin said at a regular news briefing in Beijing.

Lin said China gave a positive comment on the resolution and will work with India on its implementation in the next stage.
