Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport has upgraded its boarding gate numbering system, with all gates at Terminal 3 now having three-digit numbers instead of the previous two-digit system.

Under the new setup, Terminal 3 gates previously numbered 1-78 have been renumbered 301-378. The boarding gates at the satellite terminal, accessible via shuttle train, remain unchanged and continue to start with "5".

The airport stated that the new three-digit numbering system will help passengers more easily discern whether they need to take the shuttle train, thereby improving the overall travel experience.
