India successfully launches rocket carrying European satellites

NEW DELHI - India's space agency, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), on Thursday successfully launched a mission on the PSLV-C59 rocket carrying European Space Agency's Proba-3 satellites, the ISRO confirmed.

The launch was carried out from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in the Sriharikota area in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh.

The two satellites of Proba-3 mission onboard the PSLV rocket got separated successfully a few minutes after the launch, ISRO said in a post on X (erstwhile Twitter).
