CE to travel to Beijing Wednesday for duty visit

Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu will travel to Beijing on Wednesday for his annual duty visit to meet senior officials.

During the four-day visit, the CE will "brief state leaders on the latest economic, social and political situation in Hong Kong", the special administrative region government said in a statement on Tuesday.

Director of the Chief Executive's Office Carol Yip Man-kuen and Private Secretary to the Chief Executive Vicki Kwok Wong Wing-ki will also join the visit, the statement added.

During the CE’s absence, Chief Secretary Eric Chan Kwok-ki will be Acting Chief Executive from Wednesday until Dec 13 afternoon, while Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po will be Acting Chief Executive from Dec 13 evening to Dec 14.
