ZHUHAI - Guests and winners of the 2024 Campus News Awards on Tuesday visited the Zhuhai Aerospace Land, the first national super-scale space center, in Zhuhai, South China's Guangdong province.
The center serves as a showcase for the nation's latest accomplishments in aerospace, aviation, and national defense. It offers visitors the opportunity to engage with interactive facilities for lunar landings, rocket launches, and lunar mining simulations.
The tour at the center is an exchange activity of the 2024 Campus News Awards. Established by China Daily Hong Kong in 2012, the competition this year received about 1,000 entries in Chinese and English from more than 3,000 students.
A total of 28 awards were presented during the awards ceremony at the Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College in Zhuhai on Monday.
