The Macao Special Administrattive Region government held a reception commemorating the 25th anniversary of its return to the motherland at the Complex of Commerce and Trade Co-operation Platform for China and Portuguese-speaking Countries on Friday.

The sixth-term Chief Executive, Sam Hou-fai, delivered a speech stressing Macao's prosperity and future development. Vice-Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Ho Hau-wah, former Macao Chief Executive Ho Iat-seng, and a number of Macao SAR government officials and representatives of Macao institutions attended the event.
