Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu is set to travel to Shenzhen, Guangdong province, on Friday afternoon to attend an annual dinner with business leaders from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Lee will be joined by Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Erick Tsang Kwok-wai and Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry Sun Dong, who will also participate in the GBA iForum cum Dinner 2025.
This year’s event, co-organized by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries alongside various organizations from Guangdong and Hong Kong, will focus on the theme “Forging the Future Together: Shenzhen and Hong Kong’s Collaborative Efforts towards Technological Innovation and New Quality Production”.
According to a statement from the HKSAR government, this annual gathering is a key highlight for the business community across Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. It will bring together members from the industrial and commercial sectors, academia, and government representatives to explore new development opportunities.

Lee is scheduled to return to Hong Kong later on Friday.
