GUANGZHOU - Veteran Marouane Fellaini broke the deadlock as Shandong Luneng beat Guangzhou City 3-1 in the 2021 Chinese Super League (CSL) on Sunday.
The 33-year-old headed home near the penalty spot for Shandong before the half-time break.
Shandong doubled their advantage on 71 minutes thanks to Brazilian Jadson's goal from a corner.

In the match between Shenzhen FC and Cangzhou Mighty Lions, Shenzhen defender Zhang Yuan made a mistake with an own goal to gave Cangzhou the lead in the 41st minute.
Immediately after the second half started, Yan Zihao fired home Cangzhou's second goal. Shenzhen could only pull one back on 71 minutes from Alan Kardec's penalty.

Elsewhere on Sunday, Guangzhou FC routed Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic 5-1, and Henan Songshan Longmen edged Qingdao FC 1-0.
Beijing Guoan will face Tianjin Jinmen Tiger on Monday, while Shanghai Port plays against Wuhan FC.
