WASHINGTON — The world's top five golfers are set to compete in next week's Charles Schwab Challenge, the first PGA tournament after a three-month postponement because of the COVID-19 pandemic, local media reported on Saturday.
All five of the world's top players, headlined by No 1 Rory McIlroy, will compete in the tournament which runs between June 11 and 14.
The Charles Schwab Challenge, to be held at Colonial Country Club in Forth Worth, Texas, will be the first PGA tournament since the COVID-19 pandemic shut the game down after one round of the Players Championship on March 12

Sixteen of the world's top 20 players are a part of the field, with Tiger Woods (No 11) being the most notable omission. Woods has only played in the event once in his career, during his debut season on tour in 1997.
