ZHUJI, China - The Zhejiang Golden Bulls remained unbeaten by outplaying the Shanghai Sharks 102-84 in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league here on Tuesday.
Tuesday's games also witnessed the Zhejiang Lions beat the Shenzhen Aviators 87-80, and the Guangdong Southern Tigers defeated Beijing Ducks 111-107
"We had a good first half. We did a good job on defense and rebounds, especially on their outside shooters," commented Zhejiang's head coach Liu Weiwei.
Zhejiang tallied 14 three-pointers from 35 attempts. Sylven Landesberg scored 27 points, and Wu Qian had 22. Lu Wenbo and Zhu Xuhang each pocketed 11 points. Fredette contributed a game-high 28 points and 10 rebounds, but other Shanghai players provided little help.
"They are a more persistent and better team tonight. They got better chances than us. As the season goes on, we have to improve," said Shanghai's head coach Neven Spahija.
In other action, the Fujian Sturgeons suffered their seventh straight defeat, losing to the Sichuan Blue Whales 90-80.
Fujian remains winless in the young season. It is also the longest losing streak to open a new season in team history.

"Another tough loss for our team," rued Fujian's head coach Nenad Vucinic. "We got into a foul trouble early in the first half with our two leading scorers, while the bench found it difficult to score. But we fought well in the second half."
Five Sichuan players finished in double-digits, while Hamed Haddadi contributed 18 points, 17 rebounds and seven assists. Jing Hanyi scored 22 points and 10 rebounds, Su Ruoyu added 16 points.
The Guangzhou Loong Lions defeated the Jiangsu Dragons 104-86 when Zheng Zhun and Sun Mingyang contributed 19 points a piece to Guangzhou's fourth win. Center Wu Guanxi had a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds for Jiangsu.
