ZHUJI - Jamaal Franklin had a triple-double of 51 points, 12 rebounds and 18 assists to lead Shanxi Loongs to a 109-97 victory over the Beijing Ducks in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) on Saturday.
After a close beginning, Franklin's two free throws helped Shanxi take a nine-points lead in the first quarter. But in the second quarter, Beijing fought back to take a 52-50 lead with Jonathan Gibson's three free throws.

Beijing could not prevent Franklin's attack after that and trailed by 83-75 going into the last quarter and never stop Shanxi from enlarging the lead.
Shanxi's Ren Junwei contributed 18 points and eight rebounds, and Yan Pengfei added 13 points. Beijing's Fang Shuo scored 21 points plus six assists, while Gibson had 19 points and five rebounds.

The Guangdong Southern Tigers beat Sichuan Blue Whales 121-90, as seven Guangdong players had double-digit numbers.
Guangdong took a 66-51 lead at the break before they extended the advantage to more than 30 points and never looked back.

Zhao Jinyang contributed 19 points for Guangdong, while Du Runwang scored 17 points and Wang Xinkai scored 16 points. Sichuan's Zhu Songwei scored 18 points while Li Yuanyu added 17 points.
