Juve renews Morata's loan deal

ROME - Alvaro Morata will stay at Juventus for  another year, as the Spanish striker has extended his loan agreement with Juve to 2022, the Bianconeri confirmed on Tuesday.

Morata made his return to Juve on a loan move from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2020, the Old Lady had an option for a one-year extension to the loan, plus an option to buy.

It is reported that Juve can activate the buy-out clause with 35 million euros at the end of the next season.

Morata, who started for Spain in its opening game of Euro 2020 against Sweden, made 44 appearances for Juve last season, providing 20 goals and 11 assists.
