Portugal crushes BiH in Euro 2024 qualifier

SARAJEVO - Portugal clinched a 5-0 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in Group J of the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers on Monday.

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo netted a brace in the fifth and 20th minutes, while Bruno Fernandes, Joao Cancelo, and Joao Felix also found the back of the net.

Portugal maintained their lead after the break, with BiH's attempts to reduce the deficit proving futile.

Portugal sits firmly at the top of the group with eight wins from as many matches, while BiH has dropped to fifth, losing the chance to qualify for the tournament in Germany next summer.
