A giant panda-themed high-speed train is set to start a 12-week service on Saturday, running between Guangdong province and Hong Kong.

The panda train, which was converted from MTR Corporation's "Vibrant Express" train, is adorned with decorations inspired by six bears living at Ocean Park Hong Kong -- Ying Ying, Le Le, An An, Ke Ke, and a pair of newborn twins.

The train decor also features the city's iconic landmarks such as Golden Bauhinia Square, Lan Kwai Fong, and the Clock Tower in Tsim Sha Tsui.

China Daily's Andy Chong took the photos on Wednesday.
