Approximately 20 newly-arrived collections from China and France were unveiled on Wednesday in the Hong Kong Palace Museum’s special exhibition The Forbidden City and The Palace of Versailles: China-France Cultural Encounters in the Seventeenth and Eighteenth Centuries.
Highlighting a significant chapter of mutual respect, inspiration, and exchange between China and France, the exhibition delves into a range of important antiquities and artifacts that showcase the historical achievements made during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
