Colorful blooms and elegantly adorned boats brightened Liwan Lake in Guangzhou, Guangdong province on Wednesday, marking the launch of the 2025 Guangzhou Water Flower Market.

Running through Friday, the market offers a unique flower sales experience, reminiscent of the vibrant scenes from ancient water flower markets. 

The event also features traditional art performances and boat cruises, creating a festive atmosphere for visitors in anticipation of the Chinese New Year.
