Typhoon Saola continued to move away from Hong Kong on Saturday after disrupting life in the city.
Gales battered Hong Kong, snapping trees and inducing flooding. Water levels rose in some parts of the city with swells.
Residents have been advised to stay indoors and keep away from the shoreline.
