China is willing to further align development strategies with Indonesia, working towards a deeper and high-quality Belt and Road cooperation and creating higher-standard and sustainable cooperation projects for the well-being of both peoples, Premier Li Qiang said on Saturday.

Li made the remarks during a meeting with visiting Indonesian Vice-President Ma'ruf Amin in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. The Indonesian leader is among the leaders who will attend the opening ceremony of the 20th China-ASEAN Expo and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit on Sunday.

Beijing and Jakarta must prioritize cooperation over initiatives including the Regional Comprehensive Economic Corridor and the "Two Countries, Twin Parks" and seek closer exchanges and cooperation over education, culture, tourism, youth and sports, Li said.
China is also willing to strengthen multilateral cooperation with Indonesia, jointly uphold the unity and centrality of ASEAN, and maintain the correct direction of East Asian cooperation, injecting more stability and positive energy into regional and global development, the premier said.

The Indonesian leader expressed readiness to deepen bilateral cooperation in economy, trade and people-to-people exchanges and enhance coordination and mutual support in regional and multilateral affairs.
