MADRID - Real Madrid are now in London as they look to make history on Saturday night by winning a 15th Champions League final when they take on Borussia Dortmund.
The La Liga champions are looking for a domestic and European double after finishing the league season 10 points clear of FC Barcelona, assuring the title almost a month before the end of the season.
That has allowed Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti the luxury of being able to prepare for the game in the best possible way, resting key players and giving minutes to others, to ensure that all are in optimum condition for the big match.
Real Madrid have just two injury problems ahead of Saturday's game with French midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni missing the final with a foot injury. That is a blow to Madrid as he had adapted well to a central defensive role after the injuries suffered by Eder Militao and David Alaba.
Alaba is still injured, while Militao looks well below his best after recovering from his torn cruciate ligament and Nacho Fernandez will partner David Rudiger in central defense with Dani Carvajal and Ferland Mendy as full backs.

Toni Kroos plays his last ever club game before retiring in the central midfield role, where he is likely to be partnered by Fede Valverde, Jude Bellingham and either Eduardo Camavinga or Luka Modric.
The match will be extra special for Bellingham as the England international faces the side he left just a year ago to make his successful move to Spain.
Vinicius and Rodrygo lead the Real Madrid attack, ready to take advantage of any loss of possession as Borussia can be expected to pressure high up the field.

Semifinal hero Joselu will have to wait for his turn on the sub's bench, where players such as Brahim Diaz, Arda Guler and Lucas Vazquez highlight Madrid's squad depth.
It looks increasingly as if Thibaut Courtois will play in goal, which is unlucky for Andriy Lunin, who has deputized well all season for the Belgian.
Courtois has returned well from his knee injury and if Ancelotti had any doubts over who would start, Lunin's bad dose of flu, which has stopped him from training, has decided the issue in Courtois' favor.
