Fancy enjoying the sceneries of a historic Southern China city while riding a sightseeing bus and having the afternoon tea? Go, get it in Jiangmen. It’s now available there, starting Thursday.
“Sandiansan Afternoon Tea Bus Tour” (三点三下午茶公交旅游专线), offered by the Jiangmen Public Bus Company, has two routes, according to Jiangmen Fabu (江门发布), the official WeChat public account of Jiangmen municipal government’s press office.
The Pengjiang and Jianghai Route (蓬江&江海线) takes passengers through Wuyi Overseas Chinese Museum (五邑华侨华人博物馆), Donghu Lake Square (East Lake Square, 东湖广场), Qi Ming Li (启明里), Children’s Park (儿童公园).
The 1.5-hour tour, departing at 9 am on weekends and holidays, is priced at 58 yuan each. A tea set featuring a “Lion Dance Cake”, a purple Yam cake, a tiramisu fruit tart and a jasmine and plum tea is included.
The Xinhui (新会线) Route travels through Jiangmen Railway Station (江门站), Chenpi Village (Tangerin Peel Village, 陈皮村), Liang Qichao’s Former Residence (梁启超故居), and Birds Paradise (小鸟天堂).
The 1-hour tour, departing at 3:30 pm daily, is priced at 38 yuan per person. The tea set consists of a “Lion Dance Cake”, nuts and a tangerine peel and honeysuckle tea.
