The recently unveiled “Hunting for Good Jobs in Guangzhou 2024” campaign, which features a “GBA recruitment bus”, offers comprehensive employment services and opportunities for job seekers to meet employers from reputable enterprises.

The bus provides a one-stop opportunity for job seekers to learn about employment policies, participate in job interviews via live broadcast, and receive professional career planning advice.

A representative from Guangzhou's Human Resources Market Service Center described the “GBA recruitment bus” as “small but fully equipped” to the Xinhua News Agency. “The bus itself is a moving billboard for Guangzhou's employment services. Its design is an important medium that allows more citizens to learn about Guangzhou's employment policies,” he explained.

The double-decker bus has also been transformed into a digital interview area, where job seekers can search by keywords and gain a broad view of the job market in the Bay Area. Participants can review potential positions from the live broadcasts and access AI tools to enhance their market competitiveness.

With the support of AI and big data platforms, job seekers can generate resumes instantly. AI-simulated interview rooms provide practice interviews, analyzing performances and offering advice to improve interview skills.

In the coming year, the “GBA recruitment bus” will host a series of employment events, shuttling through Guangzhou's 11 districts and then extending to rural areas to reach those in need of employment and accelerate the development of high-quality employment services.

“Job-hunting methods in the big data era are very diverse. We look forward to continuous innovation at events like this to build a more convenient employment platform,” said a job seeker in attendance.

“Because the event is hosted by the Guangzhou municipal human resources, I feel more reassured looking for a job here,” said another job seeker.

The event is guided by the Guangzhou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and hosted by the Municipal Human Resources Market Service Center.
