There’s a festive atmosphere in the air as city residents prepare to celebrate the 26th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland on July 1.

In Central, posters have sprung up on buildings, walkways, and bus stations, with the Home Affairs Department and community organizations also planning various celebrations in the city’s 17 other districts.
