Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, John Lee Ka-chiu, and Chief Executive of Macao, SAR Ho Iat-seng, will embark on their annual duty visit to Beijing on Sunday, according to statements from both governments.
Lee will visit Beijing from Sunday to Wednesday to report to state leaders on the latest economic, social and political situations in Hong Kong. The Director of the Chief Executive’s Office, Carol Yip Man-kuen, and the Private Secretary to the Chief Executive, Kevin Choi, will accompany Lee.
The Macao leader will report on his work in 2023, as well as the city’s key policies for the next year’s administration

During Lee’s absence, the Chief Secretary for Administration Eric Chan Kwok-ki, will be Acting Chief Executive.
Ho will visit Beijing from Sunday to Tuesday. The Macao leader will report on his work in 2023, as well as the city’s key policies for the next year’s administration. The Chief-of-Office of the Chief Executive's Office, Hoi Lai-fong, will accompany Ho.

During the Ho’s absence, Secretary for Administration and Justice, Cheong Weng-chon, will temporarily perform the duty of the Chief Executive.
