TEHRAN — An Iranian vice-president said on Wednesday that his country is pursuing the recovery of the arrears owed by Bahrain, the official news agency IRNA reported.
Iranian Vice-President for Legal Affairs Mohammad Dehqan made the remarks on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting when commenting on the government's efforts to release Iran's assets frozen in banks in the Republic of Korea (ROK).

It is estimated that Iran has funds worth more than $7 billion in two banks in the ROK that it is unable to access because the banks and authorities in the ROK refuse to process them for fear of possible US penalties.
