Hong Kong's university entrance examination, Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (DSE), continued with the Chinese Language writing test — DSE's first core subject — held on Wednesday morning.
The DSE started on Tuesday, with about 4,000 candidates taking part in the Visual Arts test.
More than 55,000 students have registered for the exam, nearly a 10 percent increase from last year.
The Hong Kong Taxi and PLB Association has launched a campaign dubbed "HKTPA Make Your Day", offering free rides to help candidates get to the testing sites more easily.
