Chuang said eight confirmed and five preliminary patients were found at eight units of Tung Fat Building Block C in North Point.
Top microbiologist and government adviser Yuen Kwok-yung inspected the building and said that all the 6-lettered and 7-lettered units needed to be evacuated due to vertical transmission.
On the other hand, a restaurant at United Building in Hung Hom, which had been closed since its first case, now had seven of its workers infected by the virus, said Chuang, who appealed to diners to get tested.
Two more patients in the city died from the disease, bringing the number of coronavirus-related deaths to 174.

The other death was that of a 56-year-old woman, who also had chronic illnesses and was hospitalized on Tuesday morning, Lau said.
The patient suffered cardiac arrest on her way to the hospital and her heart rate picked up before she tested preliminarily positive for the virus on Tuesday afternoon. Lau said the patient’s condition deteriorated further and she passed away shortly afterwards.
