HKSAR govt delegates to attend UNHRC meeting

HONG KONG - Deputy Secretary for Justice Cheung Kwok-kwan was set to depart Hong Kong for Geneva, Switzerland on Sunday afternoon to attend the 55th regular session of the United Nations Human Rights Council.

Representatives of the Department of Justice, the Security Bureau and the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau were to join Cheung in attending the session, according to a Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government statement.

The HKSAR government officials will attend the meeting as members of China's delegation. Cheung will leave Switzerland for Hong Kong on March 21, it added.
