Shanghai Port extends unbeaten run in CSL

BEIJING - Brazilian striker Gustavo's brace lifted Shanghai Port 3-0 over Tianjin Jinmen Tiger, while Shenzhen Peng City notched a much-needed victory against Nantong Zhiyun in the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Friday.

Gustavo put Shanghai ahead 14 minutes into the game with an easy tap-in right in front of goal after a cross from Wang Shenchao, while Jiang Guangtai added another in the 33rd minute from a corner kick.

Gustavo headed in his second of the game with an assist from Oscar en route to help Shanghai extend its winning streak to seven games. Two Shanghai teams, Port and Shenhua remain top two in the league standings both with 36 points from 14 games.

In other fixtures, Jorge Ortiz's last minute strike earned Shenzhen its first win in 10 games, while 10-man Meizhou Hakka held Shandong Taishan to a goalless draw at home.
