The Hong Kong Flower Show, an annual event curated by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), will open to the public at the Victoria Park, on Friday, and continue through to March 23, 2025.
The gardens and artistic floral displays attract a large number of visitors as well as exhibitors from over 200 local, Chinese mainland, and international organizations and groups each year, according to LCSD.
This year's event, titled Ablaze with Glory, has highlighted cosmos as the theme flower, which is selected not only for its aesthetic appeal but also for its resilience and robustness.

Beyond the horticulturist splendor, the show offers a vast array of activities. These include a student drawing competition, photography competition, plant exhibit competition, music and cultural performances, floral art demonstrations, and family games, which together foster a spirit of learning and appreciation for the botanical world.
China Daily's Andy Chong captured the vibrancy of the event during a media preview today.
