HONG KONG - The National Security Department of the Hong Kong Police Force on Wednesday arrested two persons for perverting the course of public justice.
Police nabbed a 64-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man in Hung Hom and Cheung Sha Wan, respectively, the HKPF said in a statement issued on Wednesday afternoon.

She was also nabbed for "doing an act or acts with seditious intention" by repeatedly publishing posts with seditious intention on social media platforms, police added.
But after being released on bail, the woman allegedly attempted to pervert the course of justice by attempting to influence other defendants in the "conspiracy to forgery" case through the 30-year-old man.
Armed with court warrants, police conducted searches at the arrested persons' residences and seized some electronic communication devices.

The two arrested persons are being detained for enquiries, police said.
