HANOI - Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Thursday called for the establishment of a quick-response team led by Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son to deal with the US imposition of tariff on Vietnam.

Chinh was speaking while chairing an urgent meeting with relevant ministries and sectors in response to US President Donald Trump's decision to impose a 46-percent tax on certain goods imported from Vietnam, Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper reported.
