HONG KONG - Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu visited a flower fair in Shatin on Friday morning on the eve of the Lunar New Year.
During his visit, the chief executive purchased some New Year flowers for his family and talked to several children. A 10-year-old girl requested for Lee's autograph on her notebook, which the CE agreed to happily.
Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs Alice Mak Mei-kuen accompanied Lee to the flower market.
In a social media post, Lee wished a happy and prosperous Year of the Dragon to the city's businesses and people.
