The Hong Kong Palace Museum presents an opportunity to explore the Chinese people's passion for dining and food culture, which spans over five thousand years.
The exhibition, titled A Movable Feast: The Culture of Food and Drink, opens to the public tomorrow and will continue through June 18, 2025.
It features more than 110 artifacts from the HKPM, the Palace Museum in Beijing, and notable loans from institutions such as the British Museum, the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, the Cleveland Museum of Art, and several museums in Hong Kong.

Divided into four sections, the exhibition delves into various aspects of China's food culture. It includes displays of a ceremonial meal for the deceased, multicultural banquets from the Silk Routes, elegant picnic sets for social gatherings, and a multimedia table where visitors can learn more about the evolution of dining culture.
The Robert Chang Art Education Charitable Foundation is the sponsor of this exhibition.
